More Information
Following a number of popular releases on Paul Blackford's Militant Science label and Transient Force, Glasgow-based Soundex Phonetic brings his hard-yet-melodic electro to Tudor Beats with the 'Self Construction EP'.
Tudor Beats label boss said: "Having had the privilege of releasing the Chordata EP in the summer, I am delighted that we are releasing more top electro from Glasgow. In a review of the Chordata EP in The Wire, Joe Muggs commented on how Glasgow has Detroit techno running through its veins and I think this EP definitely provides further confirmation of this."
Soundex Phonetic has been one to watch in the electro scene ever since his 'Social Decline' EP was released on the Pomelo label and charted by D.J. Stingray. He has certainly paid his dues to the scene with a club night - now radio show called No Divide - which has hosted DJ sets by the likes of Keith Tucker from Aux 88. No Divide is also set to become a record label in the New Year.
