More Information

Following numerous live analog acid sets which have shaken many a dancefloor to their foundations with raw bass whilst making a compelling case for the addictive nature of acid, Tudor Acid 101 is the first EP in the Tudor Acid series by Richard Wigglesworth. It was mastered by Keith Tenniswood aka Radioactive Man, and the stunning digital release artwork was done by the South West's finest graphic designer - Rachel Marsh from North Devon.

Figure Of Eight opens the EP and sets out the stall for the series - and the label - with a pounding analog riff which has got many a dancefloor jumping across the country. Then, two acid lines come in and play off each other, flirt with each other and then shamelessly intertwine on the dancefloor.

The playful theme continues with Court Jester, where wistful chords and throbbing analog synths pave the way for a riff that defines Tudor Acid. These two tracks form the foundation of the Tudor Acid series and leave the listener wanting more - such desires will be fulfilled when Tudor Acid 202 is released subsequently in June.
